HOSPITALITY OF FRIENDS
Allow us this opportunity to thank you sincerely for each and every one
whom has opened your homes and hearts for us during our January/February
trip to the States. It was a privilege to be part of your lives –
even if it was brief period and experienced your hospitality. It is a
privilege to have experienced your part of the world. Thank you for your
patience and flexibility when our flights were not always on time, for
the assistance in arranging for the luggage to be delivered when they
were not on the same flight as us, for the shoulder to lean on when we
got frustrated with the search on all the airports…
We want to extend a sincere thank you to those whom have taken the time
to stop by at Reno Safari Club Show as well as Dallas Safari Club Convention
at the NAPHA booth. Thank you for taking the time to enjoy a cup of coffee
with us. You will never know how much we appreciate it. To you who have
stopped by at the booth and we have missed you, we apologize sincerely.
Hope to catch you next time…
RAIN IN NAMIBIA
Namibia is blessed this year with a lot of rain – A LOT OF RAIN!
We have never seen Kowas as it is at the moment. There is grass variety
that never grows before on our property. The grass is very tall and it
is green all over. In fact, it is the most rain which was received all
over Namibia ever.
To the “hay fever” sufferers and those who experience allergies,
we advise you to make provision for hay fever attacks and polling allergies
while being at Kowas. This would be due to the quantity of grass seeds
– it is not even time to shed the seeds yet. We remind you to make
provision for the necessary medication (and bring along a copy of the
prescription if you run out of your medication).
We furthermore suggest that you – which is due to hunt with Kowas
from now to end April – to make provision for trousers which could
not get wet in the tall grass.
ABUNDANCE OF GAME:
It is a pleasure to drive in the field to see the game species in abundance.
It is an experience to see the offspring enjoying the green grass, it
touches your heart. Even more so when you bear in mind that Namibia is
an arid and dry country, and all of a sudden so many rain! One wants to
be out in nature all day long to experience the wonderful phenomena of
what is happening in Namibia. What a privilege it is for us to share our
part of the world with you – something we have a passion for. We
are looking forward sharing our part of the world with you.
2007 DALLAS SAFARI CLUB – LEGENDS:
We have the privilege to announce that Kowas Adventure Safaris will be
having a booth at the 2007 Dallas Safari Club Convention. This event is
scheduled for 11 – 14 January 2007 in Dallas. We invite you to stop
by to say hello. We will be glad to see you, meet your friends and family
who might be interested in visiting Namibia.
We urge you to carve these dates in your diary – plan to be there
– come and share in the fun and excitement: 11 – 14
JANUARY 2007
